This new family of fused silica products from National Affiliated Technologies is based on a unique technology and manufacturing process which permits the cost effective production of shapes to meet most design and application requirements. FUSi02NTM products and technology permit us to supply customers with a wide range of precision-made shapes small and intricate to extremely large shapes, and shapes with complex internal structures - which do not require costly additional machining.

FUSi02NTM shapes are fused silica (98%+) that are sintered to a high temperature. Today they are used in many non-ferrous applications, including but not limited to, tapblocks, trough liners, filter bowls, flue port blocks, pour basins, spouts, control pins, dipping ladles, and stalk tubes. National Affiliated Technologies' ability to supply quality shapes cost-effectively enables you to use FUSi02NTM parts in applications where ordinarily fused silica products have been too expensive.

In addition to dense cast shapes, National Affiliated Technologies offers lightweight fused silica foam blocks and shapes. These items feature an open cell structure which provides excellent thermal insulation and infrared reflection properties for applications requiring stability and thermal shock resistance. Made from FUSi02NTM Foam 50, foam blocks can be sawed, and drilled and shaped. FUSi02NTM CS, a fused silica cement, is used for bonding and facing of the blocks.
